Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I work with you instead of a full service design agency?

You should work with the team who will deliver the most impact. For those organisations who'd like a full service agency solution in terms of creativity and quality but are held back due to scale or budget, I am for you. I call it the 'small but mighty' option.

What do I need to give you to get started?

The best starting point is to help me understand the problem you'd like to solve. If the brief and budget is clear I'll prepare a proposal and price. If you'd like help forming the brief (which is common!) I'll facilitate a 90-minute programme fundamental labs with you and your team.

How much do you charge?

My minimum level of engagement for consultancy and design projects is £5,000, with most projects priced between £15,000 and £55,000. Associate work differs and is calculated using an agreed day rate.

Do we need a contract?

Each engagement requires a signed contract and statement of work. For direct clients I supply a contract, project deliverables, and invoicing schedule, including cancellation and change terms. For associate work I am supplied with a statement of work and supporting contract.

Do you also design eLearning?

Yes! I have deep experience designing and delivering face-to-face (ILT) and virtual experiences (vILT) supported by digital elements or eLearning.

What locations can you serve?

My family and office is based in the South-East of England with direct access to central London and London airports. This unlocks my ability to serve clients UK wide and internationally.

I have an agency. Do you also work as an associate?

Yes! I've partnered with many passionate clients and consultants whilst working as an associate for agencies like dragonfish and NKD. I deliver associate work alongside my direct clients - in fact they are very complimentary.
